Hades Pencils

Just load up he pencils - to give you the chance, to see them - before i spoi all this lines with my poor ink skills!

Worked on one of my earlier sketch dumps.

Had the most postive feedbacks on my Hades sketch,
and so i spend hours and hours to make some pencils here.

A short explain:

The big guys in the back are some tied titans.

The half naked guy with the rock is - of course - Sisyphus.

The headless harp guy guy and his almost rotten beauty are Orpheus and Eurydice,
after the little incident with the Thracian Maenads.

The priest like girl to the right of Hades is Persephone,
also know as the Queen of the Underworld and (now it's become weird) Goddess of Regeneration also.

The meat ball with the eyes shall be Argos.

Did i forgot one?

Oh yes, the three headed dog,
but i just cant remind his name!

Yeah,
im a great fan of ancient greek mythology!
(That's the reason also, why i hate the remake of "Clash of the Titans" so much!)

For more informations of Hades and his folks, switch to Wikipedia - or better - just read some good books.
(I prefer the classic interpretation by Gustav Schwab, but dont know, if his books became an english edition)
